The client’s goal was to build a first phase church that could expand as membership grew. The setting in the woods inspired an unpretentious building that nestled into the forest. A north woods look with vaulted ceilings and clerestory windows in the worship space are the primary features. The site is master planned for a future fellowship and classroom addition. Another building feature is the ground source geothermal system that heats and cools the building using the natural heat of the earth.
